Lead Artist + Owner of Shadow Ink

Every tattoo Matthew creates starts with a conversation. Known for his easygoing personality and sharp attention to detail, Matt believes that your tattoo should feel like you—not like a template pulled from a wall. His process is personal from start to finish, built around listening, collaborating, and bringing your vision to life in a way that feels intentional and unforgettable.

Matt specializes in fine line, realism, and custom designs, blending precision and artistry to craft tattoos that age beautifully and hold meaning beyond the ink. Whether it’s your first piece or you’re building onto an existing collection, he takes the time to sketch, adjust, and refine until every line feels right.

Clients describe sessions with Matt as comfortable, creative, and surprisingly fun. His humor keeps the energy light, while his focus ensures that every detail lands exactly as it should.

At Shadow Ink, no one walks away feeling unheard or misunderstood: because the art is always a reflection of you.

the shop

Tucked inside a historic building in downtown Carrollton, Shadow Ink is a private tattoo studio located at 106 Adamson Square, Carrollton, GA.

The shop offers a calm, appointment-only environment designed for focus and creativity; far from the noise of walk-in shops. Every corner of the studio reflects the same care Matt puts into his work: thoughtful, detailed, and deeply personal.

Clients come here for more than a tattoo; they come for an experience that values connection, precision, and artistry in equal measure.
